Happy Mothers Day!

So today was my 5th Mothers Day, and it still hasn’t hit me that I have been a mum for that long! I have been struggling to come to terms with the fact that Mikaylah is starting school next year! She is so grown up, but I still want her to be my baby girl. I suppose she will always be my baby girl, unless of course I have another one, but she will forever hold a special place in my heart.

God that was pretty bloody mushy now wasn’t it?!

So this morning I got up early and watched some How I Met Your Mother episodes, and then drove to my Dad’s to pick up my little munchkin and spent some time with my grandma watching her feed her pet magpie, Oscar.

We then left for my Mum’s house, cause you know being mothers day and all I thought it would be a good idea to pay her a visit.

So we went and had lunch, with a grand plan of going to Pancakes on The Rocks, but guess what?! The carpark was full and the line outta the place was massive, so we ended up going to the ever so classy McDonald’s and then we ate it at the park.

My little munchkin was so excited coz it meant she could go riding around on her scooter, so we ate, let her ride her scooter for a while, and then we went and did a puzzle and she even washed my car, while I was sitting inside it with the engine running haha!

I came home, killed a spider, and have been watching footy and bumming around on the lounge/twitter/lappy. Now time to update the tunes on my iPhone cause half of them I skip over everytime they come on in the car.

Gotta love Mothers Day.

I am off to Northies very soon, it has the potential to get quite messy, so I will have to post some pics if it does get silly!

Will be an epic evening though! :)
